Oh yes, in fact my dog who is turning 4 in March still gets over excited everytime he gets a new toy! As a puppy anything new is exciting…especially if it makes a noise! So yes they probably are just as excited (or more..since kinds seem to prefer the box toys come in more in my experience) as kids do

Mine definintely does! She especially loves the toys i get her with that squeaky noise….she’ll run all over the house with it like its some huge prize.
Makes it worthwhile for me…(im sure you’re in the same boat…i’ve spent so much in toys just to watch my baby’s excitement over them)

mine do they are 6 months old and when i come home from shopping they watch every thing i take out of the bags the last ting i take out is there toys and they go nuts

Mine do. A friend dropped off a bag of dog toys her dogs wouldn’t play with. I was going to give them 1-2 toys and save the rest for later. I turned my back and the next thing I knew they had gotten into the bag and spread all the toys out around the room. The next day my sister came to visit and the dogs kept barking at her and following her around - they were looking for more toys! Now they expect everybody who visits to bring them toys.

Thats why I love dogs, My dog gets as excited as a child given an X box and it only costs me a couple bucks.

Yes! Probably more so!
My dogs nearly *** themselves with excitement when I bring them a new toy. I can barely get the tag off the toy before they lose their little minds and start barking & jumping on me!
Puppies make buying them things so fun!

It is new to them
Something for them to play with and chew on
and let me tell you whether you know it of not they are thankful
