Obama brings up a good point? When kids share toys are they Socialists? In school when one kid breaks his peanut butter and jelly sandwich in half and gives it to another kid, is this communist?

Did McCain not share his toys as a kid? Did he not experience the joy and fun of sharing his peanut butter and jelly sandwich? Could this be his problem?

Where you not taught that sharing is caring?

The point that Obama overlooks is that children share with the understanding that THEY WILL GET THEIR TOY BACK! And mommy will make them another PBJ tomorrow. They did not work for the toy, the sandwich, and have it taken from them arbitrarily to give to someone else! Wanna see a bunch of kids cry? Go yank the toy out their hand or take their lunch away!

By this same twisted philsophy, perhaps we should go to the next college class, take away all of the term papers that received A’s, and ‘redistribute’ them to people who neglected to turn in their assignments or threw something D-worthy together at the last minute. That way the less academically advantaged will graduate with the same grades as those who worked hard to graduate with honors. While we are at it, let’s take your next paycheck that I will assume you worked hard for, and give it to the people who didn’t show up for work.

At first, I was impressed by the gifted charming young speaker, Barrack Obama. He can mesmorise a crowd, excite and inspire with his brilliantly written speeches about change… but then I looked deeper and did not agree with his socialist values, his shady associations, his economic plans… change for the sake of change is not good, and I do not want Obama’s kind of change. I chose McCain. And that IS a vote for change, but the kind of change that great leaders like JFK, MLK Jr, and Ronald Reagan brought to America!

If you are like me, and most Americans, you want change. Obama has banked on this desire. But what kind of change do we need? It is a sad commentary when many people are so eager for change that they do not care what kind of change. They do not even ask what kind of change Obama will bring! What if that is a change to communism, socialism, terrorism, Muslim sheria law… hey, that is change isn’t it! But obviously, it is not GOOD change.

I want change, but for the better! Change back to a time when society stood on a strong foundation of family values, when America was the shining light of the world and not ashamed of it, a time when we were not afraid to speak the truth for fear of being politically incorrect. I have considered the facts and I believe that McCain-Palin will be a step in the RIGHT direction of change.

I do not want to live in a socialistic society that penalized the hardworking citizens in order to give more handouts to the slackers (”redistribution of wealth” as Obama calls it, which is socialist economics — a system that was proven to fail by Marx, Lenin, Stalin…). McCain-Palin (much like JFK, MLK Jr, and Ronald Reagan) talk about the American dream, that anyone willing to work can build a life for themselves and their families.

I’m more than a bit curious where $600 million dollars came from that Obama has spent on his campaign. Hmm, can’t be from the 95% of Americans he thinks need ‘redistribution of wealth’. Regardless, Obama’s economic policy is socialist, which inhibits small enterprise. “Redistribution of wealth” is socialism, and that system has proven to provide a miserable life for the people and always fails. Businesses are already struggling under the Democratic congress. Historically, business has thrived and grown under Republican administrations. The only balancing factor at work in our economy now is that we do not also have a Democratic President.

I have seen the effects first-hand. My parents were business owners, hard working people providing many jobs. When Democrat Jimmy Carter got in, their business was forced to cut due to tax increases and other policies that inhibited sustaining the business, forget growth. They eventually closed 2 offices: dozens of people on unemployment. Contrast with the Republican Reagan years. Business boomed, branched out, more jobs created, more money for people to spend at other businesses. A thriving economy.

A tree with shallow roots is easily blown by the slightest storm, whereas a tree with roots that go deep into good ground will stand. With the state of the world, politically and economically, we cannot afford to elect Obama. America will stand with McCain-Palin.

I want to live in the world that JFK, MLK Jr, and Ronald Reagan envisioned: America the strong, the proud, the moral, the just, where opportunity abounds for anyone willing to work for the American dream. I will not support someone like Obama who talks out of both sides of his mouth in order to appeal to whatever group that is listening, someone who aligns himself with terrorist and radicals but then claims ignorance. We need to trust our leaders. McCain has served our country and proven that he is a man we can trust.

A house divided against itself will fall. Obama will increase the divide. McCain wants to unite both parties with his cabinet so that is the best choice for unity. And now more than ever, with all that we face in our world today, America needs unity!

Fact is, McCain-Palin have more in common with two great past Presidential leaders, Ronald Reagan (Republican) and JFK (Democrat), than they do with either Bush. And Obama has more in common with Vladimir Putin (Communist) and Karl Marx (Socialist) than any past American leader. Even Obama’s own party has people jumping ship to vote for McCain. Get past the media hype and the glossy charm, see the truth, vote with your head.

    How old R U ? 12 ??

  3. nigel v

    no

but if the childs parents never buy toys because they know one of the other parents will then it becomes a problem.

  4. eir

    NO
that is the dumbest statement i ever heard.
just vote for obama and get it over with.

  5. Little Miss Sunshine

What the f are you talking about? Sharing a toy and a sandwich is totally different because it’s voluntary. A politial figure who gives money I earned away to someone else is robbery.

  6. Maelstroms Wake

This is a good example if you are retarded. When you really look at it, the child did not produce the toy and the child did not produce the sandwich.

So yes it is easy for him to do that (be socialist) when it is NOT HIS stuff. When it is NOT HIS tax money. When it is NOT his business. You get the pattern?

  7. Kathleen K

Sharing when you were kids?! *gasp!*
Why that is an UNTHINKABLE thing to do.

    You must be a terrorist.

  8. Boo

If the child has their toy taken away from them by force and given to others, yes it is a form of socialism. When you voluntarily share your toys, you are giving from your heart.

  9. Da_webwalker

He knows better but that’s what he tells his supporters and they believe him.

  10. athiest

so this debate is turning into poking critisism at each other?

  11. Lilly

wow… your really stupid. Grow up and get your own damn toys!!

  12. yesseree

You must not ever had the experience of being around kids on the playground. There’s always bullies trying to take away stuff from the other kids. In real life, those kids get time out.
Can I come to your house and have some of your stuff? Huh? No, why not?

  13. purrsephanie

Yes. it is a socialist idea, like Jesus sharing bread, fish and wine. It will ruin this country, we will all be communists. Kids need to buy their own toys, it will boost the economy and then all of that money going to Japan will create jobs in the US and thus trickle down on everyone like a giant shower of gold (hee hee).

  14. eyeofra1969

You’re joking right? Don’t believe everything that your Comrade says. That is not a good point. Obama is being exposed and now he is trying to make a joke out of it. I don’t know about you, but I like my hard earned money to stay with me. I don’t want my wealth being spread around to anybody but my family. People are having a hard time in this country paying their bills and Comrade Obama is making wise cracks about his proposed policy on spreading the wealth around. Typical. Obama wants a classless society, which is a prime example of communism.

  15. robot_hooker2

That’s a ridiculous point, and Obama secretly knows it. Did the government force Obama to give (not share) his toys to other kids who didn’t have any? Did the government force Obama to give (not share) his food?

No, but that’s exactly what Obama is proposing for the country. He’s panicking because he’s starting to realize that his many statements over the years about income redistribution are coming to light and may cost him the election.

  16. amiokhuh

Only if the kid who has ownership of the toy is forced to give up any interest in the toy irrevocably and it’s ownership is given to someone else. Voluntary sharing is one thing. Forced confiscation is another.

  17. bigowitz

No. And no it is not a good point because we aren’t talking about kids learning to share or play together. We’re talking about hard earned money, not the peanut butter sandwich my mom gave to me. You don’t need a president to help you fellow man, you can start handing money out to anyone you want to.

  18. kpk02

You are (and Obama) missing the main point. If a kid is breaking his sandwich in half, he is CHOOSING to give that half to the other kid. With Socialism, there is no choice. The government dictates our lives and determines where our wealth should go.

Republicans aren’t against giving to others. What they are against is government-controlled forced redistribution of wealth. Each person should have the freedom to manage their own wealth in whatever way they choose to. You don’t need to be forced to share in order to be generous.

  19. thorcorn

You think that is a good point? He might have shared his toys but he got them back when the other kids were done playing with them. The other kids did not get to keep them.
The kid voluntarily offered half of his sandwich. It was not taken from him against his will.

  20. Texas Girl

Now this question just makes you look stupid…
Kids do not have to work that ***** off for those toys and that sandwich. And money and toys are very different.
    Dumb dumb dumb question.

  21. LEW

Obama brings up an utterly stupid point. My salary isn’t a child’s toy.

  22. Themis

That is the dumbest analogy I have ever heard.

There is no sharing in socialism.

  23. dbf32771

Nice job trying to paint McCain as an extremist. It does not work.

  24. george

No. are you dumb or dumber?

  25. PottyTrainer

You’re cute..lol how is it fun to share a peanut butter and jelly sandwich? There’s nothing wrong with sharing, but I don’t feel it’s necessary to “share” with strangers who probably aren’t grateful anyway.

  26. Koolaid Kid

Is this the best you could do? Where’s the outrage at being told that if you make over a certain amount of money its going to be taken from you and given to someone else Where’s the outrage at being told that the working class will now become the slave of the non-working class? where’s the outrage at being told that the your rights are outdated and need to be changed to conform to the times?
But you want to know if kids sharing toys is socialist. Kids sharing toys is learning to be sociable. Taking anything from one and giving (as in to keep) to another is called stealing or taxation.Or in today’s culture redistributing.

  27. Hot Bunnie

Volunteering is a choice. Having someone take it from you isnt.
