You shouldn’t worry about your kids getting germs because a newborn needs to build up an imunne system. You should worry if you notice one kid is actually sick because babys are at a higher risk of serious problems when they get sick.

This is kind of a tough question since you definitely don’t want to offend the other parent(s), with whom you setup the playdates with.
I’m not sure about just how bad it is bacteria-wise, but the best thing I can say is to clean the toys before & after use.
Try bringing toys that aren’t furry or soft, as these things would probably collect more saliva and schmutz on them.
Perhaps plastic toys would help?
