Today, with the Internet being so popular, you can find many different activities for your child to do online. There are countless computer games, educational activities, video games and more. There are also interactive websites that allow your child to get creative with coloring sheets. Your child can color either online filling in shapes and animals with color by the click of a mouse or offline by printing out coloring pages for them to color with crayons or coloring pencils.

We all know kids love to color. It allows them to get creative and express themselves artistically. Instead of sitting your child in front of the TV or a video game (and yes, even 5 year olds are playing video games now), why not turn on your computer and printer and allow them to create colorful masterpieces. You can also make your own with your photo-editing software

You do not have to worry about not finding enough sites that allow you to print out coloring sheets for your kids. There are plenty of sites to find such as Disney and Nickelodeon to more individually owned sites and they are all free. All you need is a printer and either crayons, markers, coloring pencils or paints.

Coloring sheets go way beyond simply printing and coloring though. There are many other fun things you and your child can do with these coloring pages. Let us explore just a few of these creative ideas.

1. Having a birthday party? Why not create your own party theme. Why go out and buy countless coloring books in the hopes that they match the party theme your child picked out, when you can search coloring sheets in pretty much any theme on the Internet. Does your child want Winnie the Pooh or Sponge Bob? Let them choose and simply print out for the kids to color later on during the party.

2. T-shirt making can be a fun activity to do with your child. Print out coloring pages and then color, scan, and print onto iron on transfer paper. Then simply iron onto your t-shirts.

3. Christmas decorations are easy to make. Print out some Christmas related coloring pages and have your child color them in. Then work together hanging them up in the windows and doors.

It just takes a bit of imagination when working with coloring sheets. The creative possibilities are endless. What a fun way to get your child to express themselves and show how far their imaginations will go. It takes nothing more than a computer, printer, coloring supplies, and your child’s ambition.
