The films have brought the series back to life there is no doubt about that so I thought it would be a nice idea to talk about the cars they are in reality.
Optimus Prime
Optimus prime is one if not the most famous transformer of all time simply because he is in charge of the famous Autobots. Since the beginning of the series he has been able to transform into many different vehicles but the most famous (helped partly by the films) is the semi truck. Optimus has not just been seen as a truck but also as a fire engine and also many types of aircraft.
Megatron
It wouldn’t be an article about transformers without the boss of the Decepticons and the only real challenge Megatron has is when he runs into Prime. These are usually the two that end up having the hige final battle at the end you would have seen this in the comic, cartoon and films. He has also taken a number of forms over the years and some of these include a tank, Jet and yes a robotic T-REX.
Hot Shot
Hot Shot is the leader of the spy changers and he worked along Prime for a long period of time. The spy changers are a team of six Autobot specialists that are able to walk across any surface and camouflage themselves. Hot Shots real life form is actually the Porsche 959.
Ironhide
Ironhide is quite an old Autobot who has seen a lot of battles and was part of the spy changers group that assisted against defeating the bad guys. his real life form suggests that he is a bit of an old timer as well and it is the Nissan one box cherry vanette, pretty ancient stuff.
With this in mind I am almost certain that you would need some Gap insurance with the amount of money you would be paying off for one of these robots. Can you imagine how much the insurance would be on one of these! You would certainly need bad credit car loans if you owned one of these robots and a new car lease would be necessary.
