Plastic toys that are parakeet size.You could give your parakeet papers to shred but make sure it doesn’t have ink especially the colored one.Leather thong and wooden toys. If you’re going to buy rope make sure the rope is not frayed as it’s nail can get caught.That goes for all toys if it’s worn down throw them out.

I understand they like the Busy Bugs Music Box. It is a kids toy but there is nothing for parakeets to get caught in and they like the motion and music.
