I Really **** Yahoo Answers asked:
My new pup (an eight week old, high-energy, adorable trouble) needs some toys.
The one’s we got her initially seem to have bored her, by now.
What are some toys I can make her, whilst home (without access to stores, et cetera)?
Easy projects too please!:]
Thanks!

check out this site, some good ideas
My Olga loves her kong toy, they are inseparable. I alter what I put in it to keep her occupied which holds her interest, but her favorite is, I mix a little puppy kibble with a little peanut butter and stuff it in the kong, then seal the kong with peanut butter and freeze it. Once frozen, I give it to her and she absolutely loves it.
I also take small dixie cups and fill them with water, take a dog bone and stick it in the water and put in the freezer until frozen. It takes longer for her to attack the bone and she loves the ice!! (peel the cup off the ice before giving it)
I also fill an ice tray with a drop of chicken broth in each hole and the rest water, they’re like ice cubes with a chicken (ish) taste.

You can find two old socks, knot them together, and you have a tuggy.
Also, you can put an existing toy into an old sock, (like a tennis ball), and you have a homemade wubba.
LOL, aside from old socks, I guess I don’t know!

There are so many fun games that you can make for your puppy with things you already have in your house. One of my puppy`s favourites is `get the treat`. I take a plastic container and flip it upside down on the floor, with some of his favourite smelly treats underneath. He can see them and smell them, but can`t figure out how to get at them. Great mental stimulation for your puppy!
Be creative! Just make sure that whatever toys or games that you make up, you supervise the puppy closely so that she doesn`t get hurt or choke on a piece of whatever it is she`s playing with.

Take an old, worn-out sock and tie a knot in it, then play tug of war; puppies love that!
