sarah asked:
All kids do it, I know. But what is the best way to handle the good ole, “that’s mine” fight between children. When your child is SO possessive over his/her things. When he/she hates anyone even looking at her toys when they are not there. Is there a bigger issue there? Or is it kids just being kids? And what’s the best way to handle that?

i think the best way to handle it is to either say you cant share it than you cant play with it or make a share rule, if you share that you get a star or a (healthy) snack and once sharing becomes more normal slow the rewarding down til you dont have to reward nomore, than its a natural reaction to want to share, and i think thats all kids, they all go through that stage.

I say if they can’t share then no body can have it.
You could try the rewards systems like stickers for each time they share with each other and then eventually they would get used to it so you don’t have to anymore. I think all kids go through this stage you just have to always tell them to share and make sure they know its a good thing if they do.
