That was years ago. The real loser was my father who insisted we live in that slum. I met up with the lady recently and told her I once hit her over the head with a bottle, and she looked at me with this long hurt expression and replied, “I got even with you guys somewhere”.

I would not recomend making any kind of toy out of a glass wine bottle, several reasons, but the mst important is the risk of injury to the child. Glass breaks and kids often do not know their own strength.
