kids toys
Secret Spy Agent asked:

Like when did you (or your kids) stop playing with them. Please dont say stuff like “never” and “still do” I want a genuine answer of when you stopped playing with toys and switched to other stuff.

Have you heard the poem that goes like this:
“The difference between men and boys,
Is the size of their feet… and the price of their toys.”
If you don’t want to hear the inevitible answer… don’t ask the question.
Its just the description of the toy that changes….
    Playing with them doesnt.

NEVER.. only thing that changes is the toy…

Well your asking for people not to give you the correct/ inevitable answer.
I know people in their 20s that still have stuffed animals on their beds. The average age of a gamer is 30, so there are obviously quite a few people in that age group playing video game. A blackberry can be considered a toy even.
The “toys” change as a person grows older, but they never actually stop playing with them.

When their “friends” change, or when you notice they shift to wanting to spend time with their peers moreso than being in the house and being to themselves in their room.
For my daughter, it probably shifted when she was about 10-11.

I stopped playing with toys in about 5th grade but I still play board games once in a while and video games

My husband is 35 and still plays with Lego’s but that’s because we have boys and he what to spend time with them. They also play army with pellet gun (full safety gear) My daughter stopped when she was about 11 but she didn’t play with toys a lot before that. I guess it all depends on the person and how grown up they are

It depends on the child…..maturity level and the type of toy….

Do you consider XBox a toy?

  16. koralle_german

im still 15 and i still sleep with a stuffed animal that my grandma gav me.
it depends who gav the toy, how special it is, etc.
