kids toys
elizabeth asked:

I am just wondering if you are planning on buying china made toys for your kids this christmas or if you are planning on avoiding them? And Why?
There are plenty of toys made in the US and we are not stuck buying China toys. The step 2 mail box is made in the US!!
I do believe china is trying to kill us off, don’t you see they have to many people and not enough land, they will take all they can get.
Just think the job oppotunities for the Americans if we started making toys here in the US

Do we really have a choice?

Everything is made in China these days.

It makes me sick that they can do this to us! It’s only due to the West that they have an economy because we keep buying their rot!

I’d rather pay more money for something decent instead of some not so cheap, nasty, dangerous, plastic rubbish that will poison my kids!

no one,but there is a chance that they will get one or two anyway not unless everybody buy the high priced toys made here in the United States.

I think China is trying to kill us! Now with reference to the Aqua Dots thing the little girl swallowed 40 of them, not one but 40 so that is bad parenting coupled with poison toys.

Well, it seems like most toys are made in China these days. However, with the Aqua dots thing–it makes you wonder which toys are really safe and which ones could be harmful. I don’t think I would want to give my children a toy with a date-rape drug in it..

I am a kid, but I know that my parents don’t really care if toys are made in China or not. I don’t pay close attention to that either.

Not me, I am making my own wood toys and puzzles for my kids, I think our government needs to hold the toy companies accountable for harmful items they put their name on, the hire these companies to build their thing cheaper then they need to be responsible for the products, all companies should have to test ALL products they put on the market to make sure they are safe for the consumers, they are saving money having their products made abroad then they should pay to keep our people safe.
This problem really ticks me off.

Is it that big of a deal??? Toys are toys and kids have fun with them all the same. I don’t care where theyre made. Their toys.

I don’t envy any of the parents of young children in this day and age. Back when I was young, the majority of our toys were foreign made, back when my children were young all of their toys came from China, oh, I lived and so did my children. And did anyone notice the Toys R Us Big Book, it did not name one Mattel toy, while it did feature them, the brand name was deleted. Things use to be so simple, a toy was seen as an object of enjoyment to the child as well as the parent, now all parents see, because of what has happen, is something that is harmful to their child, where does it end. I believe that the toy manufacturer, here in the States, should be fined (the loss of revenue isn’t enough) and where was or is the government regulatory commission that monitors imported toys? Be careful parents and do your research. God Bless.
